Explanation time: Infinite. Every screen you have to read the directions in order to complete the task.
Educational : Not really
Game Play : We let Gamer2.0 play this during a D & D session and it lasted about 10 minutes. She couldn't get into it at all. There are little tasks to complete (like taking pictures of wildlife while on a ride) that take several screens of reading to get to. Even taking care of your pony friend is complicated and hard to get to. Unless you are REALLY into horses and reading this game is not for Pre K/Kindergarten.
